The college is among other new institutions constructed in every constituency aimed at providing relevant skills in Competency Based Education & Training (CBET) as well as one of the key drivers towards the achievement of vision 2030. The institution was officially opened in May, 2018 by His Excellency the Deputy President Hon. Dr. William Samoei Ruto.
